Anadolu Isuzu, which is publicly quoted, with its main partners being the Anadolu Group, Isuzu Motors Limited and Itochu, produces and markets commercial vehicles such as light trucks, trucks, buses and pick-up trucks.
Anadolu Isuzu began the production of the Isuzu vehicles at its Kartal plant in Istanbul, in 1984.
The most important objective of Anadolu Isuzu, from the day it was established, has been its approach to service which brings customer satisfaction to the fore. Anadolu Isuzu, which celebrates its 30th year in 2014, has produced more than 130.000 vehicles to-date. Anadolu Isuzu has won the “Isuzu Manufacturing Management” (IMM) award, given by Isuzu Motors with the purpose of ensuring high production standards, twice – with the first coming in 2008, and this success being repeated in 2012.
Anadolu Isuzu puts its name to original products, with the coach and truck designs it has developed in the R&D center. Anadolu Isuzu produces the only coach in Turkey which is completely domestically designed, but at the same time uses a global brand, and lastly, in April 2013, the new Visigo, and the updated Novo series coaches were presented for the liking of consumers.
Due to the importance it attaches to R&D and quality, Anadolu Isuzu is not only an important manufacturer in the domestic automotive sector, but also overseas. Anadolu Isuzu exports the bus and coaches within its product range to 26 countries – most of which are members of the European Union, while has also been the leader in terms of exports, for minibuses, for the last 10 years. Anadolu Isuzu develops the coaches it exports in full, in its own R&D center. It produces them at the Şekerpınar plant and sells the using the Isuzu brand. Anadolu Isuzu has also began producing the D-Max range, as of March 2014, after having imported them since 2004. Isuzu D-Max is the first pick-up produced in Turkey.
